Exterior House Painting

All exterior colors must be approved by the ARB. Each owner must submit the fully completed ARB Application form with paint samples on a 2’ x 2’ sample board. The samples are for the exterior walls, shutters, trims, etc.

As a homeowner, you may have ideas about how you would like to improve your property. The Association has an Architectural Review Board (ARB) to help maintain the quality and cohesion of our neighborhood. The purpose of this review is to preserve the natural environment and maintain home values.

Painting the exterior, including the same current colors, still requires ARB approval.
Acceptable colors include earth tones (tans, greys, taupe’s & muted greens), pastels (soft delicate hues) and other natural colors. No bright or loud color schemes shall be allowed.

Previous ARB approval to another home owners’ project is not a guarantee of approval of your project. Once you receive a written approval, work may begin.

Unfortunately, if work is started without ARB written approval, or other violations occur, the homeowner risks being cited for a covenant violation, paying a monetary fine and may be required to alter or remove the changes including exterior repainting.
